Knoppmyth R5E50 DVB Driver for the newer Freecom DVB-T USB sticks
R5E50 of Knoppmyth includes support for the older version of this device out of the box, but the newer versions have a differeint USB indentifier. The driver below was compiled by me from the patch submitted to the Linux DVB kernel code. You will also need the updated firmware for this device.
In Knoppmyth, you should rename the original dvb-usb-dtt200u.ko driver and then copy this new one into the same directory, which is:
/lib/modules/2.6.18-chw-13/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb/
The firmware needs to go into /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware.
